favorite Spencer Reid moments in season 9, the last part

Heyy, this is the last post of my season 9 review. I’m sorry it is so late, I kept forgetting it… but here it is, about 9x23 and 9x24. I hope you like it :D

9x23 Angels
The first thing I want to share is that Spencer is a real gentleman, letting Blake walk out first <3

I noticed something was off about the female cop, she was way too happy and excited for this kind of case. Later it is revealed she is a dirty cop, so my people reading skills are getting better ;p

One of the cutest moments for me was Morgan talking to the shy prostitute girl at the bar. I really like the difference you can see in the girl before and after Morgan spoke with her ;)

Blake and Rossi at the medical ‘doctor’. “What kind of knife was used?” “A sharp one.” NO SHIT SHERLOCK! Like OMG put someone there who has a little bit of medical knowledge! I feel like I could have done that better…

“WHOAH WHOAH WHOAH WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Do you mind NOT standing there? Thanks.” Sassy Reid is the best :p

The ending OMGG :C Spence trying to protect Blake and Morgan being shot. I was dying for a week until I could finally watch the last episode. Why do they want us to suffer so bad :C

9x24 Demons

I was kind of disappointed that Morgan got up so quickly. Like, I had been dying one week for this and you stand up in a second. That was not good for my health okay! I felt like I could have made a reaction video, because I was constantly shouting at my laptop…

OMG crying when Blake called Spencer Ethan…

Spence sort of dying again. DON’T YOU DARE TO LEAVE ME HERE REID! YOU’RE GOING TO SURVIVE!

I loved the conversation between JJ and Blake. “Spence would have read like two books by now. Maybe three.” “He has to make it. He’s too young.” “Yeah, there’s still things for him to do. You know, he wants kids. Can you imagine Spence as a dad?” *yes I can!* “That would be the luckiest kid in the world.” *YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT!* “No doubt.”

I love Rossi’s quotes, like this one: “Kid’s too smart to die. He probably rewounded the bullets by power of suggestion.”

JJ was scared that Spencer would die, and she (along Blake) shared the most emotion about it. *And I think it is because she loves Reid, because I am a Jeid shipper*

Garcia putting the Doctor Who stuff in front of Spence so when he wakes up, it will be the first thing he sees. So cute <3

My reaction to this scene: NO YOU’RE NOT GONNA KILL Reid AGAIN! YOU SON OF A B*ITCH, YOU DON’T! JUST LET HIM LIVE OKAY? YOU JUST ALMOST F*CKING KILLED HIM AND NOW YOU WANT TO KILL HIM AGAIN? WELL F*CK YOU AND F*CK EVERYONE THAT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT! (people in the Hunger Games fandoms will get my reverence)

OMG MY SPENCE IS AWAKE AND HE LOOKS SO CUTE AND OMFGGGASDFGHJK

“Jello! My favorite!” I was so glad the writers remembered this OMG. I think they should bring back more of these small things from earlier seasons. Small POSITIVE things!

I didn’t like her from the beginning, she was too happy. Glad she died. I was like: “DIE B*TCH, DIE! HAHAHA!”

Before I watched the episode, I read on twitter Blake was going to leave. And then we have Blake sharimg her frustrations to Reid about her husband James being home alone now and Rossi telling Blake that his job caused his wife to leave him. I thought she was going to leave for James, to spend more time with him.

When the fake-nurse tries to give Spencer his new medication, which he can’t have because he would get a severe reaction, and he juts hits the “nurse” his arm. GO Reid! Even sick in a hospital bed he is smarter and better than everyone else!

Here Garcia just shot someone and she’s freaking out and then Spencer says: “You saved my life. Can you hear me?” “Yes I heard that, that makes it better. Thank you for saying that.” “Thank you for doing it.” I like this new Spencer/Garcia friendship <3 I think they should do something more with that in season 10.

This was a pretty badass action scene. Sorry for the crappy screenshot, do you know how hard it is to make a decent screenshot from an action scene? It’s FREAKING hard

Aww… my cutie Spencer is sleeping while there isn’t enough room in the plane because Garcia and Cruz travelled along and he’s just, f*ck everyone, the whole couch is mine >:)

Blake texting to probably Hotch about her resigning and Hotch looking concerned after receiving a text message. It seems obvious to me that she texted him, and he looked concerned about her, but the writers put on twitter it could be anything… so who knows what they came up with.

OMG THE ENDING!!! “Who’s Ethan?” “Ethan would have been a lot like you.” “Thank you for being there for me when I woke up. That means a lot to me.” I have the feeling that she feels like a mother for Spence. *sobs*

THE BOOK! THE FREAKING BOOK! HE HAS THE FREAKING BOOK WITH HIM THAT MAEVE GAVE HIM ON WHAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE THEIR FIRST DATE, HE HAS KEPT IT IN HIS BAG SINCE OMFGG I CANT!!!

Blake’s credentials…

The very ending… when I heard Blake was the one who left, I was kind of relieved, and maybe even happy. This wasn’t because I hated Blake, but this would mean my babies (the rest) would be save. I never expected the ending to be so painful. On the day before I watched it, I was like: “YAY BLAKE IS LEAVING!”, on the next day I was like: “Blake, please come back???” If she just had resigned normally, it would have been less painful…

This was it for season 9. I hope you liked the reviews/favorite moments/screenshots. I will be doing this for season 10 too, but after two episodes, so it won’t be as much. Then after 8 episodes, I will do a short summery of my favorite things in those 8. For now until October 1st, I will do some season 10 wish lists, some speculations, some news, anything I can find.

Favorite Spencer Reid moments in season 9 (part 3.1)

Heyy, I finally re-watched the last 9 episodes of season 9. Because I made so much screenshots (91 for these 9 episodes), I decided to make 3 posts out of it. The first is from episode 9x16 to 9x18. I originally called it ‘favorite Spencer Reid moments’, but I think I could better call ‘everything I notice in the episode’, because I basically make screenshots of everything :)

9x16 Gabby
Okay, so there’s a thing I’ve been noticing every intro. When I see Spencer with the stopwatch, I hear a clicking sound when I watch a downloaded version on my laptop. When I watch the episode on TV, I don’t hear the clicking, so I was wondering if any of you also hear the clicking when he pushes a button on the stopwatch.

One of the cutest moments was when they rescued the kids. You see JJ and Spencer talking to them and it’s so cute <3 (but Spencer and JJ with kids are just cute)

My favorite moment of the episode was when Morgan called Garcia to show her the rescued children, because she was worried that they weren’t safe. This was just so cute and she was so happy.

AND HOTCH SMILED OMG! He doesn’t smile very often (mostly when they’ve rescued children, when he’s with Jack or when the team has a big success to celebrate), so I had to make a screenshot of this special moment :P

9x17 Persuasion
Okay, so my screenshots from this episode are mostly (all but one) from Spencer. The first one is from a person who is helped by the UnSub. I just wanted to say that he doesn’t look wrong, to be honest he looks pretty good :)

Now the Spencer screenshots :) I love it when Spence bursts out random numbers/information that isn’t really necessary for the case. Like, how many tourists Las Vegas had last year, or how many clubs and hotels Las Vegas has. But yeah, I have a thing for fictional characters with eidetic memories :)

Spencer calling his mom on the plane <3 SO FREAKING CUTE! “Hi mom, it’s me again. I’m on a plane to Las Vegas and I can’t wait to see you. You know, I’ve been thinking, it’s been a really long time since I had chicken fried lobsters, so I was hoping that maybe when the case is done we can go to Binions(?). I have to go. Call me back. Bye, love you.” (I have a thing for writing the quotes)

I love how Spencer is worried because his mom is on a field trip without telling him. He’s acting like a parent who has to let their kid go, but instead he is the kid who has to let his mother go. And how JJ sort of gives parental advice to him about letting go and be happy she’s getting better.

How Spencer grabs the board with the water result to read it himself instead of letting the doctor read it. But yeah, if you read 20.000 words per minute… “Do you mind if I just take a peek at this?” He’s cute. I mean, he could have just rudely grabbed it.

Spencer pretending to work for ‘The Doctor’. I like how he goes ‘undercover’ to manipulate people with some sort of mental illnesses. He’s just awesome doing that. (okay my screenshot looks kinda hot I think)

OMG Spencer pretending to be a fan of Martin Colman to trick him. It was so funny in my opinion, Spencer is getting sassier. “The truth? I wasn’t even born yet.” (oh and my screenshot is so charming ;p)

OMGG the ending was so cute. When Spencer talks to or about his mom, his voice goes a little higher, just as when talking to kids. It’s so adorable <3 “Can you imagine my mom on a mural? It’s like Hotch on the beach.”

9x18 Rabies
Okay, first of all, I loved this episode. Not only because the funny beginning and ending, but also because I find the subject (rabies) kind of fascinating (but luckily not as much as the UnSub). I was telling my sister that it was number two in my top 3 of season 9 so far, and when she was it, she was like: “What is wrong with you?” because it was a crazy subject and all… but now the screenshots.

To begin with, I LOVE the beginning, and some of Spencer’s quotes, like: “He [Morgan] has really good abs.” (he has been staring at his abs, fangirl moment), “You [Garcia] work out? That’s cool. I don’t.”, and my favorite: “I’m just gonna have a heart attack really quick.” (me after every gym lesson, or walking the stairs in my 5-floor school building). I like the fact that you see his mismatched socks so well :)

When Spencer is rambling about rabies and brain tissue, and Morgan is telling him to slow down. It’s kind of cute, and it happens to me all the time. My chemistry teacher once tried to mute my speaking with a remote control as a sign that I had to talk slower and less loud, but it didn’t work :)

Later Spencer says something like: “Almost makes you consider euthanasia. I’m not implicating that you should euthanize Henry, or anything…”. It was something like this, but he talked to fast, even for me. And if you know me, you know that rarely happens.

Rossi doesn’t want his coffee anymore after hearing ‘a woman foaming from the mouth at a coffee shop’. But Rossi always makes this kinds of faces with his eyebrows.

Okay, so in this scene I noticed something very important (to me). Spencer and Morgan are chasing the UnSub, Morgan is being electrocuted, and Spencer is just standing there with his gun in his hands. My sister and parents were wondering why he doesn’t just shoot the UnSub, but I think it is because Morgan is too close and he doesn’t want to hurt him. Spencer knows he isn’t the best shooter, so he doesn’t want to take the risk, and I think that that is very important. To me it is.

When Spencer and Morgan do take down the UnSub, Morgan says to Spencer: “Nice tackle kid.” To which Spencer answers: “Thanks, I’ve been working out.” And I just find it very funny, okay?

Spencer and Morgan in the hospital. “Pretty boy, hope they didn’t mess up your face too bad, you know that’s your best asset.” I love how he’s sort of flirting with Spencer (well, not really flirting, but like best friends flirting).

So this victim in the hospital shakes everyone’s hands, except for Spencer’s, he’s waving. How does he know Spencer doesn’t shake hands? I find it sort of cute, but I’m wondering how. Can you see something like that in a person you don’t know?

And now the ending! I made 7 screenshots because I liked it so much.
- First Spencer is failing this thingy, I don’t know what it is, but I guess I would fail the same way or worse.

- I definitely think he did this thing great. Or at least better than me, but that isn’t hard.

- Jumping the ropes. He does it a little weird, like he doesn’t do his legs at the same time, but he sort of walks over the rope or something.

- Hehehe, how he runs/jumps/what-ever-he’s-doing down the stairs. What does he do with his hands?

- And then they died…

- Now they’re attacking Morgan

- Followed by sitting on top of him :)
