about Spencer Reid

hello, this is me again. this time I'm going to tell you something about Spencer Reid, my favorite character all time. He is a genius and autodidact who graduated from a Las Vegas high school at the age of 12. He has an IQ of 187, an eidetic memory and can read 20.000 words per minute. He has 3 Ph.D. One in Mathematics, one in Chemistry and one in Engineerding, as well as 2 B.A.s in Psychology and Sociology. Spencer Reid was born in Las Vegas (as well as the man who plays him, Matthew Gray Gubler). His father abandoned him and his mother, Diana Reid, at a young age, but in the episode 'memoriam' it is revealed that he could not bear the stress of Diana's involvement in a murder, and that's why he left. Reid is, as is characteristic of people with Asperger's Syndrome, socially awkward. He often fixates on things, avoids eye contact when fixated, and misses social clues at times.
